Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH): CAMH is Canada's leading addiction and mental health teaching hospital. We improve the lives of those affected by addiction and mental health problems and promote the health of people in Ontario and beyond.

BC Mental Health and Addictions Research Network: The BC Mental Health and Addictions Research Network aims to build research capacity and foster collaborative research that will inform policy and practice in the field of mental health and addiction.

Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF): The Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation is the provincial agency that funds and facilitates health research in Saskatchewan. One of their priority areas include health systems and policy research, with emphasis on: health human resources/workforce planning, quality management and improvement, primary health care, mental health and addictions, innovative delivery models, rural and, remote health services, synthesizing and disseminating health systems & policy research.

Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA): supports research to enhance mental health, neurological health, vision, hearing, and cognitive functioning and to reduce the burden of related disorders through prevention strategies, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation. Institute of Aboriginal Peoples' Health (IAPH): supports research to address the special health needs of Canada's Aboriginal people.

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC): is the federal agency that promotes and supports university-based research and training in the humanities and social sciences.
