- Calgary Addiction Centre Network: Offers a podcast series of presentations from the annual Addiction Day conference.
- Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA): CCSA provides access to a range of information and analysis relating to substance abuse issues, and connects Canadians to a broad spectrum of networks and activities.
- Canadian Public Health Initiative (CPHI): the CPHI has a series of reports that deal specifically with the mental health of Canadians including: "Improving the Health of Candians: Exploring Positive Mental Health".
- Clinical Depression in Canada Blog: Join in the discussion about major depression research with Scott Patten at his new blog created to encourage an exchange of information and ideas between researchers, policy makers and others.

- Multicultural Mental Health Resource Centre: The Multicultural Mental Health Resource Centre (MMHRC) aims to improve the quality and availability of appropriate mental health services for people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including immigrants, refugees, and members of established ethnocultural communities.
- National Institute on Drug Abuse (U.S.): NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
- National Institutes for Mental Health (U.S.): is the largest scientific organization in the world dedicated to research focused on the understanding, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders and the promotion of mental health.

- Public Health Portal of the European Union: The protection and promotion of good mental health are high on the agenda of the European Union which is now considering a strategy on mental health. Such a strategy could add value by creating a framework for exchange and cooperation between Member States, stakeholders in the relevant sectors, and the research community.
- A Profile of Clinical Depression in Canada: Researchers across Canada are studying the epidemiology of major depression using Statistics Canada health survey data accessed primarily in Research Data Centres.
