Mending Minds

Mending Minds is an informational insert that has been published for every Addiction and Mental Health Research Showcase since the conference's inception in 2005. These inserts summarize the highlights of each Showcase and profile several of the presenters, including keynote speakers. Mending Minds shares the latest research findings in addiction and mental health with the general public, resulting in increased awareness and knowledge about mental health and mental illness. It has been an effective knowledge exchange/translation tool in promoting addiction and mental health literacy, which is necessary to raise the profile of addictions and mental illness to that of other health conditions.
