Alberta Research and Innovation Centre for Addiction & Mental Health

The Alberta Research and Innovation Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is a virtual centre of research excellence. The Centre is currently under development and will function as a web-based resource for the Alberta Addiction & Mental Health Research Partnership Program by coordinating efforts and facilitating communication among a network of stakeholders interested in advancing addiction and mental health research priorities. The Centre will continually evolve to serve the needs of researchers, practitioners, policy makers and consumers.  

Knowledge exchange between academics and service providers will be a strong focus of the Centre. Expediting the transfer of research findings into service settings to improve addiction and mental health outcomes for Albertans is a central goal of the Centre.
